Friday, January 15, 2010
Cyberstar Infocom announced that they have entered into a partnership with Wipro Infotech for distribution of their range of servers, laptops and PCs. Speaking about the partnership, Raj Rathi, Founder and MD, Cyberstar Infocom said, “We are extremely proud to announce our partnership with Wipro Infotech. Our relationship with Wipro will help us achieve our objective to get into the laptop and PC business in a big way. We will work with Wipro very closely to grow their business in our channel.” Commenting on the occasion, Ashok Tripathy, GM and Business Head-Systems and Technology, Wipro said, “Wipro Systems and Technology Group is focused on creating and marketing products and related services, built on industry standard architectures, and open technologies that enable business agility for our customers. In our endeavor to maximize reach and visibility in the addressable markets, we use a hybrid of sales channels. The distribution-reseller-retail channel is an integral part of this go-to-market strategy. We believe that our alliance with Cyberstar will not only help us increase our presence in unrepresented markets but would also open up the growing retail segment for our exciting line-up of lifestyle products.”
